Amy loves the water.
Amy’s 30 years of teaching swimming is just splashing the surface. Amy honed her teaching skills at her parents’ prestigious Race Club swim school, helping students around the world become faster swimmers and more competitive.
Dive deeper and you’ll learn her father and oldest brother are both three-time Olympic swimmers with 13 Olympic medals between them. Her younger sister and two brothers each own and operate their own swim schools in LA and San Diego, and her aunt and uncle own the standard-setting Hubbard Family Swim School in Phoenix.
Amy even named her youngest son River, after her love of water. And did we mention Amy is also a Registered Nurse? So, if you’re looking for a safe and experienced instructor to safely build your ability in the water, Amy’s got you covered.
Come on in, the water’s great!
Located in Cambrian, south San Jose, the private pool is heated to between 85 and 90 degrees—perfect for all ages and skill levels. For the safety of our youngest swimmers, the temperature will never exceed 95 degrees.
The shallow end is a very accessible 3 feet while the deepest end of the pool is 9 feet. At 40 feet long, it’s perfect for more advanced swimmers to get into their stride and perfect their technique.
Beginner and Parent and Me group lessons will be held in the shallow end of the main pool.
