FAQs

Where does Swim-Swim conduct swim lessons?

We conduct swim lessons at our location in south San Jose from April through October. We can teach at your home location.

What classes do you offer?

We offer Parent and Me, and one-on-one Learn-to-Swim, Adult, and Technique classes.

What ages do you teach?

We teach swimmers from the age of 4 months old through adulthood.

Do you offer private, one-on-one lessons?

All lessons at our locations are private, one-on-one lessons or shared lessons, two swimmers who register together. We also offer Parent/Child classes for groups who register together (up to 3 swimmers per class).

How many classes do you recommend?

It depends on the goals and expectations of the swimmer or parent. Generally, we recommend once a week. If the swimmer has a competition, lifeguard tryout, vacation, etc., it may be recommended to increase the number of lessons per week.

How do I register?

Find your preferred time slot on the Available Classes page and register through the link there. Alternatively, you can register through this link.

What is perpetual enrollment and how does it work?

Perpetual enrollment means the swimmer will have the same day and time for the class each week. It is required that you give at least one week’s notice to drop the class which gives us time to contact the next swimmer on the waitlist.

What if we need to miss a class?

Unfortunately, we do not offer make-up lessons.

How do I pay for my lessons?

You can pay through the Parent Portal after registering.

Do I pay per lesson?

No. Lessons are billed monthly. This secures your preferred time slot and streamlines lesson time.
